Our story
VESTA began in 2014, up a narrow staircase above a record shop on Manchester Road. Mara Whitfield had spent a decade in London salons and wanted something quieter: a single room, daylight from a big front window, and the time to do colour properly.
A decade on, the record shop is gone but the daylight stays. We are six stylists who believe hair should grow out beautifully — that a great cut holds its shape for months, and that colour is something you paint, not pour.
